Our History.

Cameron Chase was founded in 1998 to offer clients a comprehensive, focused financial planning service.

Since then the business has grown steadily and consistently. Over the years the team has been added to by recruiting individuals with specific sector experience and expertise. As a result, we’ve not only built productive, long-term relationships with our clients, but a strong word-of-mouth reputation.

Today we serve a wide range of personal and business clients, as well as a growing range of partnerships with professional contacts such as accountants and solicitors.

Our Future.

We have established ourselves as one of the most respected financial planning practices in the North West. However, we’re ambitious about the future and have have set ourselves clear targets to develop and build on our success.

While retaining the client centric value proposition at the heart of everything we do, we have a goal of becoming a 10 partner/advisor practice by 2025.

If you are interested in becoming a partner/advisor, please contact john@cameronchase.com

Our People.

The founder and creative thinker of Cameron Chase, John has extensive experience working with accountants and their clients and is always on the lookout for fun and exciting ways to improve their experiences with the company.

Away from work John can be found careering down a mountain on his snowboard, striding down the back nine, or enjoying a glass (or two) of fine wine.

As a Manchester United season ticket holder and competitive triathlete, John knows a thing or two about pushing through the pain barrier… oh, and running, swimming and cycling as well.

Ric is a man who always knows how to get from A to B – albeit via back streets and shortcuts that no-one else has ever heard of. Using this canny orienteering ability, Ric is one of the best at helping clients navigate their way to their financial goals and aspirations.

He enjoys horse riding with his wife and daughter; throwing himself out of planes at 15,000 ft; playing rugby for the local club 3rd XV with his two sons and has aspirations of going to Argentina and learning to play polo. Has been in financial services for 35 years and understands risk!

Ambition is the driving force behind all of Dan’s efforts, so he is always looking to find new ways of presenting financial planning to help his clients feel secure in their own financial future, whilst appealing to both established business owners and young entrepreneurs/workers who have a drive to succeed.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys many sports and yet has mastered none of them (his words). They include 5-a-side football, pool, squash and his latest most recent hobby, the long and arduous journey into the world of golf. Rory McIlroy doesn’t have anything to worry about for now (unless he is stood 40 yards left of wherever Dan is aiming).

If spinning plates were an Olympic sport, we’re fairly sure Sandra would be up there with the best of them. However, as it is yet to be recognised by the IOC, she’ll have to put up with our respect and gratitude. An integral member of the team, not much comes through the door of our office without Sandra knowing about it.

Outside of work hours, Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter Charlotte play netball and walking in the countryside.

Juggling two kids (metaphorically, of course…) whilst still managing to arrive at the office with a smile on your face every day is no mean feat, but Cathy manages it with aplomb. Don’t let the smile fool you though, when something needs chasing Cathy wastes no time and pulls no punches, as the advisers in the company well know!

In her spare time Cathy enjoys dining out with friends and family as well as a good glass of wine whilst catching up on her favourite shows.

With a bank of technical knowledge as strong as David’s, you do wonder if he has exam notes hidden around his desk at times (we’ve not found any yet!). His financial know-how is surpassed only by his exhaustive knowledge of films, so he often fulfils a secondary role as the office film critic.

When not in the office, or in the cinema with a bucket of popcorn in hand, David likes to mountain bike over the hills of Ramsbottom.

The latest member of the team, Kim is always eager to try her hand at new things and isn’t afraid to go outside of her comfort zone. Just as well, because with two young’uns at home she gets pulled into all sorts of outdoor activities over the weekends, including cycling, gymnastics and swimming. Keeping in with the Cameron Chase way,  Kim loves a good night out.
